Resolute® Prochrom
Resolute® Prochrom columns have been designed to run for decades without any loss of performance. This performance consistency over time is enabled by Dynamic Axial Compression (DAC) technology. Our columns are engineered for ease of cleaning and maintenance operations while maximizing operator safety.

Resolute® AutoPak
Resolute® AutoPak columns deliver fully automated Packing, Repacking, Unpacking and CIP operations which eliminates many of the pain points of packed bed chromatography, resulting in maximum uptime for the customer process. They are available from 400 mm to 2000 mm internal diameter (ID).

Specifications Resolute® AutoPak
Resolute® AutoPak columns are designed for large scale pilot and production use. With a unique combination of active multi-axis piston control, precise linear actuation and patented pack-in-place nozzle, the columns can greatly minimize human errors and deliver a high packing repeatability and minimal downtime. The proven wetted flow path of the columns can provide very low pressure drop and high-resolution chromatography over a wide range of normal operating flow rates (typically from 30 to 800 cm/h).
A typical Resolute® AutoPak is configured with the AutoPak system, 20 μm bed support, an acrylic tube, 3 barg operating pressure and 50 –650 mm packed bed height capability. The columns are available from 400 mm to 2000 mm internal diameter (ID). A range of material options and accessories are available to configure Resolute® AutoPak columns to your requirements.
The Resolute® AutoPak column was developed in direct response to an industry need for fully automated operations. Often key column preparation operations, particularly packing, are regarded as high risk clean room events. These risks include human error, packing failure, and absence of experienced operators; they can result in plant downtime, loss of product and inefficient use of resources.
By adopting a fully automated approach, the Resolute® AutoPak column greatly simplifies operation, effectively eliminates operator error and reduces the burden on key operators. The automated sequences assure that reproducible and consistent operation is the norm, plus the ability to utilize all chromatography resin during packing results in cost savings and less financial variance.

Certification and Technical Construction File
Resolute® AutoPak columns are designed to meet CE marking requirements using PD5500 design code. Other certifications and standards can be quoted on request, including ASME, AD Merkblatter, and UL listing.
All columns and accessories come with a full technical documentation file. Examples are available on request.
Additional documentation requirements can be quoted on request. The hard copy of the Resolute® AutoPak software validation documentation is available to review on Sartorius premises if required.
